Olof Hujanen was born about 1701 (possibly as late as 1709). His parents were likely Hans Nilsson Hujanen (c. 1680-c. 1720) and Scholastica Partanen (c. 1679-1749). He is a descendant (great grandson) of Olof Hujanen (b. c. 1600-d. c. 1670), the earliest known Hujanen of Iisalmi.
He might have been born in Hatala, which is where his mother was living when she died. The earliest record for him is his marriage record. He married Walborg Hilduin in 1734, with both of them living in the village of Alapitkä (in current-day Lapinlahti).
Later communion records (from 1749 until his death) list Olof’s birth year as 1701, but those records are decades after his birth and apparently sources for his parents and brother Niilo suggest he was born somewhat later (and thus did not quite live 100 years, as stated at his time of death).
His first two children, Nicolaus (aka Nils, 1736) and Scholastica (1738), were born in Alapitkä. Olof and his wife Walborg show up in the 1739-1746 communion records for Hatala, Kuopio, Finland. They had five children while living in Hatala: Lisa (1740), Olaus/Olof (1744), David (1747), Gabriel (1750), and Zacharia (1752).
By 1764, Olof and his wife, and his sons Nils, Olaus, David, Gabriel, and Zacharia and their families were living in Lapetelä (farm 8) also known as Löytynjärfwi. Olof continued to live there until his death in 1801.

Researchers in various places (in particular see the discussion at https://suku.genealogia.fi/archive/index.php/t-36811.html from 2017 and the geni.com article for Olof) have the following ancestry, but I have not been able to find supporting documentation, so I did not include this information in my main Hujanen family article:

Note that the one bit of supporting documentation is the death record of Scholastica (linked in her death info above; URL: https://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/sivut/jasenille/paikat.php?bid=2192&pnum=147). However, I have not found supporting records tying her to Hannu Hujanen or her supposed son Olli.
