Nils Gabrielsson Hujanen was born on 18 April 1782 on Wiita 3 farm in Iisalmi, Finland. His parents were Gabriel Olofsson Hujanen (1750-1831) and Anna Nilssdotter Huttuin (1758-1817).
He was married to Brita Korolainen by 1806. Their children were Johan Gabriel (1806), Brita (1809-1825), Nils (1814), Adam (1817), and Lars Fredric (1822).
Nils died on 1 June 1824 in Wiita.
